Works great. Only thing that bothers me is not being able to use a wake up alarm tone other than those listed on the phone. I can use any of my music for a phone ring tone but have not been able to use any music for my wake-up alarm. If anybody knows how please e-mail me. Thanks.

Loved the Tilt and now I love Tilt 2. could run a little smoother and faster. Cannot find a network printer, still trying. Outlook works well as a sync program. Will try network email.

Very pleased - compared to Treo 750 WM phone. Battery life is at least double what I used to get and much quicker performance to boot. Handles a 2,000+ name contact list with no problem and very quick searches.
Customer Rating: 1.8
by Mike P -- January 11th 2010 -- Los Angeles, CA
I regret the day I purchased this phone. I've had it for a month and it has crashed twice, causing me to lose all my contacts. It is very sluggish. Outlook, when it does work properly, causes the phone to sputter and hang. I will never recommend this phone to anyone. Do yourself a favor and stick with blackberry, iphone, or an android device. The tilt 2 is one of the worst phones out there. I really can't express my hatred of this phone strongly enough.

Do you have to get the data plan and if so what would be the benefits for Wi-Fi.

Yes, the HTC Tilt™ 2 does require data - The Wi-Fi is still beneficial in that it will allow you to use your Tilt™ 2 for data even when outside of coverage when there is a Wi-Fi Network near by - It may also increase the speed of your device.

Hi, I would like to check whether you are selling HTC Tilt 2 (non camera) version? If yes, I would also like to check whether I can purchase this non camera version without the 2-year contract. Thanks. (BTW, I thought the camera resolution is only 3.2 megapixel and not 5 as printed on your page?)

You can use a bluetooth device, but it must have A2DP, to listen to music on the HTC Tilt 2. It is an MP3 player.

You must select what type of phone you wish to trade in and then a specified discount will be automatically applied to a purchase you wish to make. A pre-paid shipping label will be ready for you to print out. Just drop the the phone in the mail with the label attached and you will get a reimbursement check for the amount in 2-3 weeks.

I've been eyeing this phone for some time. I'm with AT&T but I've been here so long my contract is now just month to month. Do I qualify for either the "new contract" or "renewal" offeres?

You are indeed eligible for a contract extension, but not a new contract. As long as your contract is within 1 month of expiring for a 1 year contract or 2 months for a 2 year contract, you are eligible

The Data Plan must be retained for the duration of the contract for a smart phone - Consumer Data for non-smart phone devices can be removed after 180 days. The HTC Tilt™ 2 falls into the first category.

I am looking at upgrading my "classic" Tilt for the new Tilt2. I am wondering about my obligation to LetsTalk and ATT specifically: 1. I see that I have an obligation to LetsTalk for 180 days. Is that it? After that is my only contract with AT&T? 2. I see that to get this phone for free that I have to choose a plan at the $79 monthly price point. Is this also for the 180 days or can I choose a lower plan after the 1st month? 3. Who handles the warranty issues on the phone? If something goes wrong can I take it to an AT&T Service Center or do I have to send it back to LetsTalk? Thank you! Jeff Daly
