LG Dare

LG Dare

While the LG Dare doesn’t look like what you’d expect a cell phone to look like, it definitely lives up to its name. This cell phone dares to look different without sacrificing on functionality and usability. It has all the high-end features you’d expect: 3.2-megapixel camera, touch-screen, stereo Bluetooth, MP3 player, navigation system, and high-speed web surfing. In short, there’s not much you can’t do when you’ve got the Dare on-hand and you’ll just feel cool using it.

Motorola A1200

Motorola A1200

The Motorola Ming is one of those cell phones we couldn’t wait to get our hands on, and once we got to use it, we knew why. It’s just that fun and cool to use. Although this is an unlocked cell phone and some of its menus are in a foreign language, we didn’t have much of a translation problem - it’s that intuitive. In short, the Motorola Ming is a real head-turner with a ton of features that are easy to execute and fun to use.

LG VX8700

LG VX8700

What’s thin, supershiny, and ultrastylish? No, it’s not one of the silver Razrs. It’s the LG VX8700. This cell phone is definitely a looker, and its beauty isn’t limited to its exterior. Flip open the phone and you’ll see a bright, gorgeous display. The cell phone also sports many of the latest features: a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and (of course) a music player. However, if you want to listen to music on this cell phone, you’ll need a separate headset and probably an external MicroSD media card to store more songs than the VX8700’s limited internal memory can hold. But if you want a good-looking phone with stellar battery life and music isn’t your primary concern, check out the LG VX8700.

Samsung SPH-M610

Samsung SPH-M610

If you were enamored with the Samsung Blade or any version of the Motorola Razr, you would be remiss not to at least consider the Samsung M610. This cell phone is thinner than both those models; is arguably just as attractive; sports many similar features; including expandable memory and Bluetooth; and has stellar battery life. It even includes a built-in 2-megapixel camera--we just wish the picture quality was better.

Motorola KRZR - Verizon

Motorola KRZR - Verizon

Motorola’s Krzr is one slick cell phone. It’s not only smaller than its older brother, the Razr, but it is even a little more stylish. This cell phone has all the latest multi-media features including MP3 playback, a 1.3-megapixel camera and video recorder. Although, the Krzr’s display isn’t as bright or crisp as other cell phones being introduced, it’s just fine for this small cell phone. If you’re in the market for a highly pocketable and stylish cell phone that’s easy to use and has stellar call quality, consider the Motorola Krzr. You won’t be disappointed.

Samsung Highlight

The Samsung Highlight is a slim touch screen cell phone that has a lot going for it: 3G connectivity with T-Mobile’s Web2Go interface, 3-megapixel camera, solid battery life, and impressive call quality. Plus the cell phone even comes with included headphones that work with the Samsung proprietary headset jack. In short, if you want a cell phone that offers impressive call quality, a speedy web experience, in a size that’s easy to transport in a shirt pocket, the Highlight is worth consideration.

LG enV Touch

LG enV Touch

The LG enV Touch looks a lot like the LG Voyager and what was missing in the latter cell phone is more than made-up for in the former. Namely, the LG enV Touch has 3.2-megapixel camera with a flash, a fully customizable user interface, one-touch access to popular social media sites like Twitter and Facebook, and it’s all in a much lighter form factor. In short, if you liked the LG Voyager, you’ll love the LG enV Touch.

LG VX8560

LG VX8560

When the LG Chocolate first appeared on the scene, it was an exciting cell phone. So how do you improve a cell phone in its latest-to-date iteration? Make the external scroll key easier to use, put it in a more durable case (the back of the LG Chocolat 3 VX8560 has a rubberized backing making it more resilient), upgrade it to a 2-megapixel camera, and up the external storage capacity to a whopping 8GB via a MicroSD card. And of course, add more Verizon features to the cell phone namely VZ Navigator and compatible with the Verizon/Rhapsody music service. Throw in support for stereo Bluetooth and the LG Chocolate 3 becomes a full-featured, fun-to-use music phone.

BlackBerry 8130

BlackBerry 8130

There’s a good reason why everyone has been buzzing about the BlackBerry Pearl being available for Sprint and Verizon Wireless: It’s the first BlackBerry device that has done an amazing job at integrating cell phone functionality with the company’s trademark e-mail offering in a device that’s as easy-to-use as it is stylish (available in a variety of colors, which let’s face it makes it all that more appealing). Oh, and that trackball is just fun to use. Besides all that the 8130 has quite a few improvements over the original Pearl, that just makes it even easier to use. The only drawback is less than stellar battery life. If you’ve always wanted a BlackBerry, but just didn’t like its bulky casing, the Pearl is the model to checkout.
