Phone does not handle bluetooth capabilities as well as stated, and phone calls are dropped often, but I assume this is with the wireless company. Also the keys are smaller than I expected. Overall a descent phone but not a descent price. I give it 2 stars! :(

The ring volume sucks, if the phone is in your pocket you can barely hear it unless you are in a totally silent place!

The Samsung SCH-R500 is a great phone. I love it even though it is too high tech for me. I still cannot figure out the camera feature, but it will come in due time. I highly recommend this cell phone. I love hearing it tell me who is calling or the number that is calling. I enjoy being an Alltel customer. The phone as I said is great. I am very happy with it.

There are a lot of things I like and some I do not about the Samsung SCH-R500. I do not like that I can't put speaker phone on when I'm on a call. That option isn't there when I look for it. I do have the volume up on high, but that's not what I want. I also can't figure out how to do a 3-way call with this phone. Please let me know if I can. I like the loudness of the rings too. I have a couple of buttons stick on me when I text message.

I like the design of the Samsung SCH-R500, but whenever I try to use the camcorder function, the cell phone freezes up and I cant do anything. I have to take the battery out and restart the cell phone which is a pain. Also, sometimes if my cell phone is in my pocket and I pull it out, the back light on the screen does not turn on. Then, I have to take the battery out and restart again.
